About Us

Membership meetings are held the first Wednesday of each month at noon at the Seven Seas Inn. Exceptions are the months of December, July and August, when the general membership does not meet.

Meetings focus on topics of importance to the community and include information on upcoming activities and programs.

Among 2010 goals, the MPO announced plans to host two new events: a Mandan Sports & Recreation Rendezvous on Main on May 22, and a Spirit of the West Grill Fest on Aug. 20-21. Click here for more info.

Art HilferArt Hilfer was honored as 2009 Volunteer of the Year for his spirit of service and assistance with the downtown Christmas park display. 

Gate City BankGate City Bank was named the 2009 Business of the Year for financial support of  many events and employees involvement in community activities. 

MDUMontana Dakota Utilities was recognized for its many years of support for lighting the downtown holiday park display.

1) Create a third major community festival for residents and visitors.

2) Coordinate additional downtown activities.

3) Establish a go-to location for visitors and citizens seeking information about local businesses, attractions, and events.

4) Improve and promote the Mandan Bucks Program.
